Most people think AI agents are for simple tasks

Most people think AI agents are for simple tasks - handling FAQs, basic support tickets, scheduling meetings. They're totally wrong.

Most assume AI agents do basic stuff:

Write reports

Answer simple questions

Book meetings

Handle routine tasks

But some are already doing expert-level work:

Designing complex product configurations from customer requirements

Validating technical specs against engineering constraints

Acting like senior product engineers who never sleep

Handling requests that normally need years of domain expertise

Here's the thing - there's a huge difference between pattern-matching text and actually understanding how products work together.

A manufacturer I know just went from 3-day configuration turnaround to minutes. Same accuracy. Same complexity. Just no humans in the loop.

You can't hire your way out of this. You can't train fast enough. But you can have one expert's knowledge handle unlimited requests simultaneously.

The companies getting this right aren't just more efficient - they're operating in a completely different league.

Everyone else is still thinking chatbots.
